SPACES PLACES is an international multidisciplinary design studio based in New York, with roots emerging from Paris and the Middle East. 

 

Founder and Creative Director May Ghadanfar is an exhibition and experience designer with a background in interior architecture, spatial design, and installations.

​

Her work encompasses a wide range of design disciplines working with Calvin Klein on global store designs and the standardization of their retail environments, as well as brand activations and product launches for brands like Google, Shark Ninja, and Kering Eyewear.

 

She has developed the concepts and design for the Arcadia Earth Museums and lead the production for their exhibits in New York, Saudi Arabia, Las Vegas, and Toronto. With her experience, she has pioneered immersive experiences that juxtapose art, technology, and environmental awareness.

As the Creative Director at Chemistry Creative, a creative production agency based in Brooklyn, May leads the creative department in developing client pitches for brand activations, events, and experiences, ensuring seamless integration of storytelling and spatial design, and delivering captivating design solutions that resonate with clients and audiences alike.
